Kuwait Little League Charters First Challenger Division in Middle East
Kuwait Little League (chartered with Little League International Pennsylvania, United States) is proud to announce that there will be a CHALLENGER DIVISION for the 2011 – 2012 season ! The Challenger Division is a separate division of Kuwait Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 6 - 12, to participate in an athletic environment structured to their abilities.

Today more than 30,000 children participate in more than 900 Challenger Divisions worldwide
The children will play the game of baseball with accommodations as are necessary for the individual child and team.
The value of the Little League Challenger Division is beyond baseball, and is found in the proven therapeutic and socialization benefits for the players of participating in sports, the strengthening of participants’ self-esteem, sportsmanship and fair play.
Playing with the same equipment on the same fields, the players have the opportunity to experience the joys of pulling together as a team, being cheered, and earning awards for their achievements.
The Challenger
Division works with the help of "Buddies" for each player. The Buddies help
the players in all aspects of the game, defense and offense.
